At Leading Lines one of the biggest hazards the team may encounter while on trip is COVID-19. While the risk of contracting the virus on a nine day canoe trip may seem minimal, multiple portages and campsite locations in and around populated areas increase this risk substantially.
To help prevent this, Leading Lines has partnered with our friends over at Six One Three Apparel Co. who have graciously supplied the team with Buff face masks for the journey.
Six One Three Co. is a local apparel brand that create's lifestyle apparel representing the Eastern Ontario region. They donate 5% of all sales to The Concussion Legacy Foundation and another 5% to various foundations that change monthly. This March, Six One Three Co. will be donating 5% to concussion testing, and to Sick Kids in the month of April.
