Meet Leading Lines’ trip leader (TL), Adrian Clementino!
As TL Adrian has the important role of coordinating and managing the Leading Lines team and works hard to make sure that everyone’s concerns and voices are heard. Adrian is also responsible for maintaining the trip vision and ensuring that the values and goals of the Leading Lines team remain consistent from the start of planning through to the end of the trip.
Adrian is an experienced canoeist and has completed several multi-day flatwater canoe trips and whitewater river trips. His most notable canoe trip was a 12 day paddle down the mighty Missinaibi River in central Ontario from Mattice to Moosonee as part of a wilderness instructors course offered through Gould Lake Outdoor Centre.

His goals for the trip include making sure that the team’s expectations while on trip are clear and that all team members feel comfortable to approach him with any issues that might arise. Adrian’s overarching group goal is for the team to produce a seamless trip plan and for everyone to work together as a well oiled machine.
Adrian joined Algonquin College’s Outdoor Adventure program (ODA) because he saw himself in a career as an outdoor professional, more specifically as a guide where he’d be paid to do the types of activities that others would normally pay for. Since joining ODA he’s realized there is more to the outdoor industry than just guiding and has grown an interest in the management and administrative side of the industry alongside his passion for the hands-on aspects that originally drew him to the program.
After graduating ODA Adrian plans on attending Thompson Rivers University for a bachelor's degree in Tourism Management with a focus on adventure and entrepreneurial studies and has aspirations to become an industry leading operator in the future.
